“I think we ought to suspend, perhaps, elections for Congress for two years and just tell them we won’t hold it against them, whatever decisions they make, to just let them help this country recover,” she said. “I really hope that someone can agree with me on that. … You want people who don’t worry about the next election.” The audio has been posted online.

“So what to do? To solve the serious problems facing our country, we need to minimize the harm from legislative inertia by relying more on automaticpolicies and depoliticized commissions for certain policy decisions. In other words, radical as it sounds, we need to counter the gridlock of our political institutions by making them a bit less democratic,” he wrote.

Now, both of these points could be pointed out as just being frustrated with the gridlock in congress. But, the problem with that is that the record of the left over the past hundred years points to in my opinion a concentrated effort to subvert our constitution and our republic by empowering government bureaucracy that have little to no oversight by any of the three branches of government. This is why Czars exist. At this point, a change in the executive branch can’t even roll back all the damage done in one 4 year period. This is especially true if we elect a so-called “compassionate conservative” which is a key word for big government progressive republican.

Our government has been designed to not be efficient. It is based upon checks and balances because they did not want government to be able to do these things that they are doing now. It is the ultimate reason that I believe in the founders absolutely would be appalled by the size and scope of government. We have been asleep at the switch for so long, hiding behind all sorts of different rationalizations for the need of this or that. This is the most conclusive proof that the founders intended for the power of the federal government to only be increased in scope by amendment.

Now, I am not a subscriber to Alex Jones’s theories of making every crisis into a false flag, but I am a believer that as the presidents principle advisor said “Never let a crisis go to waste” is the mantra of the big government elite. My fear, as unlikely as it may seem, is that if something does happen that the government will have a reason to declare martial law and suspend elections. I don’t think it can happen with the political reality that is today, but if it did I’m scared not just of that, but the inevitable reaction to that action. They can say all they want that they are using overstatement to illustrate a point, but their policies and actions in the past show that they are not adverse to reducing “democracy” in the country. Still kills me they are allowed a pass on that. No early writing or official document in this country has ever called this countries government a democracy, and anyone with a decent high school education should know it is a Constitutional Republic.
